To terminate the lease, notices are different depending on the length of the tenancy agreement: the rent is considered delayed after a 15-day period in a month-to-month lease, a year or a fixed-term tenancy agreement. Rent is considered late after a period of 7 days in a week-to-week rent, and the rent is late after a 30-day period for tenants living in old houses. In the case of a large part of the leases, the landlord may, after a period of 15 days, notify the tenant of the full payment of his rent or the evacuation of the property within 15 days of receiving the notification.
