IPM Conference Calls 2011: May 3, Summary and Download

Native pollinator expert Rachel Mallinger from UW-Madison joined John on today’s call. She discussed her research on the role of native pollinators in the orchard and the impacts of different management approaches on pollinator populations. John rounded out the call with an update about this week’s weather forecast and some up-and-coming pests to look out for — including brown marmorated stink bug, red-banded leaf rollers, spotted wing drosophila, and round-headed apple borer.
