Spay Neuter Agreement Contract

It is the responsibility of the buyer, not the veterinarian, to ensure that the breeder has received an audit to determine if the operation has been performed. Failure to comply with this contract until the date below is considered, unless otherwise agreed in writing, to be a breach of the contract. The buyer is responsible for $7000.00. In addition, the health guarantee will be non-ae. I confirm that I have read and understood the terms of this Spay/Neuter agreement. I recognize that non-compliance with these conditions is considered a breach of contract and results in the immediate return of the adopted pet to the Forever-Home Rescue Foundation and may result in civil penalties, as stated in the sections of the Virginia Code. Most of Life`s major acquisitions require a legal contract, from buying a home to renting a car. The lasting ownership of this dog depends on respect for this addendum. The breeder must obtain proof that the spay/castranier method was performed no later than 6 months and the male puppy is 9 months old. The evidence must be consulted within fourteen (14) days after the end of the operation.

This notification may take the form of a Spay/Neuter certificate or a vet`s invoice certifying that the procedure has been closed. In the event that the dog`s health does not allow this agreement to be respected, the breeder must be provided with a statement from your veterinarian that this dog is not yet in a physical or emotional state for an operation. Based on the veterinarian`s assessment of this dog, the buyer will contact the veterinarian and set the date closest to the procedure. The buyer will inform the breeder of this change in writing, on that date all other conditions of this contract will apply and will be applied. While most contracts are simple and even boring, you may find some head scratches. Think, for example, of the breeder who required puppy owners to send him a picture of the dog every December. But their explanation made sense: a photo allows them to see if the dog is in good condition, and during the holidays, most people are inclined to take pictures and send them anyway. With the signing below, I agree with the buyer that this spayed dog/castrated by, and I understand that this contract is an agreement that this dog will not produce a litter of puppies, nor as bred intentionally or by accidental breeding. When a pregnancy occurs, intentionally or accidentally, the buyer agrees to pay the additional cost of a breeding dog, which is $7,000.00.

You can check out our Spay/Neuter contract below. We will send you an official contract if you buy a puppy. But there is another important way to see a breeder contract – and it is not considered “Gotcha” waiting to happen. For many breeders, contracts are an opportunity to share their philosophy, advice and expectations about the dog they entrust to you.
